Hell yeah bro! Those three are arguably the biggest badasses in anime fandom in recent memory. Although Onizuka's and Tenma's adventures are well documented, I want to read the original Golden Boy manga. I was only able to read a few but Oe's legend continues. Sir, you are now a bro!

Tenma is an incredible badass. I mean honestly, a world class surgeon and also a beast with a gun, starring in arguably the greatest anime plotline of all time. Can you imagine the popularity if the Monster story was adapted for an ABC television series like Hero or Lost? It's story is much more impressive.

I also love Kenshin Himura, a very deep character.

3) Folka Albark ( Super Robot Wars OGG/ C3) Pilots a Sick robot called the Yaidabout and soon the Apotheosized Yaidabout (iono if I spelled that right).
4) Kamina Ayato (RahXephon) 10x the man Shinji ever will be (if you're comparing this anime to EVA)
5) Nagisa Furukawa (Clannad/After Story) without her I will never shed a tear for this anime.

-Sheryl Nome because at times she was more of a man than Alto.
