New Segment Proposal Empty New Segment Proposal

I had an idea while I was driving home from class tonight. We have discussed many aspects of Japanese culture. Granted culture is a broad subject and we'll never run out, BUT I digress. We have never discussed anything about actually using the podcast as a source of learning Japanese.

I propose to you. How many of you would be interested in having say, a 5 minute Japanese lesson at the beginning of each podcast episode? I would use this textbook. Japanese for Everyone Which you would have to buy, but it's only $5.

How many people would spend the $5 and be interested in this idea? Be honest. I don't want to do it if you don't think it's good.

Not that I think Canada is a faraway land from the States or anything, but there may be a (slim) chance that I won't be able to find the book in question. However, the idea does sound intriguing.

once i and get 5$ i so will buy the book. i think this would be a great thing for the podcast. it will help people like us who wants to learn, and it will also give you guys a even better rep of wanting to help out the listeners. 3rd (this will sound weird possible) but every bit of money we use to buy things like this book is one step close of our economy becoming more stable again. of course 5$ isn't much, but if a few 100 or even 1000's buy a book for 5$ thats still a big deal. and what is 5$? it's alot to people but at the same time it's not much of anything, so paying 5$ to learn how to speak Japanese from a free weekly pod cast to me it's a win/win/win for everyone.

Your going to end up spending 50$+ for a tutor if your serious about it. but paying 5$ can be very easy for pretty much anyone, for a weekly 5 min lesson. So i think this will be a great thing for the pod cast and to show that they want to be more involed with there listeners.
